IP-292 is suitable for the primary end of the high-voltage ignition coil, that is, the low-voltage end. IP-296 is suitable for the secondary section of the high-voltage ignition coil, that is, the high-voltage end. When using it, it is very simple, just clamp the sensor jaws to the wire connected to the ignition coil.
